I think Youtube is fine, its a very cool place to share videos and reference stuff.....but the comments need to go, they are nothing more than spam.

More like straight up hate. It's rare to see a video there nowadays with comments enabled that hasn't turned into a hateful, ignorant political/religious debate. Or at least not full of elitist "YOU'RE DOING WRONGZ!!!!11!1!" comments.

I was upset when they removed the sorting feature since I would always sort by view count and without this it made browsing videos boring since only the low count ones would appear. The nice thing is that so many people complained about this that they added the feature back. So I guess they are listening, but we're just too demanding for them to address these issues immediately.

YouTube is cool sometimes, because there are videos for almost anything you're interested in. I like looking up videos from certain bands or old TV shows and stuff like that.

On the flipside - The thing I don't like about YouTube is that it has SO much stuff on it, and the vast majority of the videos on it are junk. It reminds me a lot of reality TV, which I don't look at. People think that if they film themselves doing mundane stuff, that YT viewers will be interested. I don't look at YT that much for that reason - I don't care for 99.99% of what's there.

I have some music videos that I've made posted there, and people look or they don't - but that's about the extent of my YT usage.



If it's not fixed, then don't broke it!

the main and #1 problem is the number of spam type videos that are using the tags to show some sort of crap instead of legitimate videos.
