| Colonel Calamity | that is very cool Silver! I am not much one for Toyotas but I knew there were a few off road-ers that were worthy... ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| Functional Alcoholic | I almost bought an FJ Cruiser when I traded my 4-Runner in for my Silverado, but I needed a truck more then I needed another SUV. |

| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | Ah crunch...that's just a 2006 Xterra! It's black, shiny/clean, and probably has some shocks or something. Needs tires, lockers, rails, dirt, scratches, and the sort. ![]() The liberty (150K miles) eats FJ's and wranglers for lunch, and it's not mallified too much. The guys out here jump them and shred tires from the very funky bolts that stick through the wells. That's what we end up riding with. Either the "Toyota's or nothing else" or "Wranglers or nothing else" groups. Both seem sad at the end of the day when the soccermom vehicle went there and beyond; and after all the smack that occurs each and every start of the journeys. The IFS front has just got to go after recent issues. It's inherent of all IFS fronts when used as an offroader and not a pre-runner. If the weather would make up it's mind, there's an SAS just waiting to happen. Oh, about forgot the "Scratch" glamor shot: ![]() |

| Here's my car, in all its scratched glory lol. I swear the camera makes the car look prettier than it is @_@. 2006 Rav4 I4 Base Model. Oh and I failed my inspection, had to buy new brake pads, which toyota decided that this car they'll only have dealer pads, so paid 70 bucks a pad -_-// ![]() Oh and my new Head Unit that my buddies are taking bets on over/under how long it takes me to crash my car lol ![]() ![]() |

At the moment, my new ride is at the dealer getting a bit of paint work done (big chip in the finish on one of the door handles) and an acid bath to take care of some stubborn water spotting over the entire car - even the glass! I guess when they cleaned up the car for me before I took it off the lot, they used really hard water, and it just stuck. The possibility also exists that we may (if we can get the extra financing) change out the cloth seat covering for leather or suede/leather. And then when all is said and done, I'm getting some "Mustang" racing tape (like on my 2006) put on the doors to complete the look. Until then, I'm driving a (don't know the year) red Focus as a loaner. I can't wait to get my Mustang again, and give them their sqeaky-braked Focus back, LOL! If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! | |
