Lol, that's kinda funny. But we don't even check for stuff like that at Circuit City. Normally (like with cameras), I'll run through the basic stuff (flash, zoom, screen, if it actually takes a photo, lens blur if it's there, etc.) then throw it back on the shelf as an open box item.

There's no reason for them to throw it back into a box and call it new though. Even I don't do that.
