I hit the nail on the head....new member, and they do that....it is a ploy(initiative) to encite you to play for real $$$. Not a big deal,really. Been playing online for many years,with none of my own $$$.Freerolls rock! I have won money in them and played online with it,had a great time doing it and it didn't cost me one red cent.BUT.....just the knowledge in knowing I did it (made a money game) from just playing very well. That's what it is all about.I go to Atlantic City,I play REAL money tournaments,I win real money and yes,claim it on my real TAXES.The tournament win,when you place first, is a &^%$#@g rush that is unexplainable.The online expirience is ALMOST as good,and sometimes BETTER for this reason.....you are against 5000 players online VS 100 in AC! Online.....if I can place in top 10,make the final table,I don't care what I win,WHERE I place is key,and gives me the confidence needed for the "big" money play ,latter in "the game".

You're right about it not being the same. I played with 4 other guys today for like 3 hours and won, and it was way better than anything I've played online.

I want to go to Chumash (Vegas no likey me <21 :( ) this summer and play in a few tournaments. Even if I don't win, I love to play real poker with real people.

Let's go ahead 10 years, Zambini has made billions of dollar off PokerStar's initial investment of $5. He is now an owner of a small island where he had to eradicate a cannibalistic tribe. Some days he enjoys some morning tea with a side of gladiatorial fights which he provides the bodies for, pitting the losers of American Idol 32 against one another for a chance to sing at his weddings. Since he lives on an independent island, he has married 27 women and has 89 children, two of which he isn't the father, but he is just too stupid to get rid of them. He has purchased his own McDonald's franchise and has it built in his bedroom, Ronald McDonald feeds him french fries in bed.

I don't eat McDonalds. Replace it with In-n-Out and you got yourself a good documentary :D
