Well maybe that's why I posted it! Perhaps I actually value a male's opinion, since I am a female and already have my opinion on the subject.

It was a stereotyped assumption, based on another assumption that you play the piano at church. There for labeling all boys that attend church, as alter boys regardless of the fact that not all denominations have "Alter Boys", a position typically filled by boys under the age of 13 in the Catholic Church. Also throwing in the stereotype that Priests are sexually deprived child molesters, an attempt to make a joke.

I play every once in a while at our church, I play in lots of recitals and have played in some concerts, and I'll be playing in front of about 2000 people next wednesday... :S

Oh and I always play for my friends.

And BTW, our church is "Non-Denominational".

But hey, I like the name. "Piano Playin Alter Boy", sounds spiffy.

Oh no! Not always true! Sure, we can be pain in the butts, but some of us are actually kind of cool and try to do good! I do value male opinions and will always take critiquing and suggestions as a way to improve, especially if it's from a guy I really care about. I mean, if the suggestion is "Wear lower cut shirts," I'm going to have to questions the motives.
