| Colonel Calamity | sorry to dig this back up but I think we should keep the discussion going ![]() I was diggin up info on both sides and found this very long series of stories of how the IPCC has literally screwed with science and announced their own conclusions, even without any proper studies. as of right now there are 38 parts to it that debunk almost every single political based global warming conspiracy out there Climate change: The deniers - Posted ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | Buffalo Springfield and later CSNY (Crosby Stills Nash and Young). Was a great tune and the phrase "Nobody's right" came to mind. Great images in the video too. Memories... Ron |

| Colonel Calamity | the main problem I see is that these old codgers are pushing all this global warming crap all over that the young generation being impressionable picks up on it. By the time they are of age to do something, it could cause some major problems with the global economy because they are so busy trying to fix the environment that they are slacking on other more important issues. It is already starting this way with some of the current government in this country. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| Screwball - I was looking at the first part and came across this quote. It seems to sum up the "global warming is our fault" crowd perfectly - they "feel" like its our fault so it must be so (forget the idea of thinking rationally or relying on facts!) "Mann's hockey-stick graph may be wrong, many experts now acknowledge, but they assert that he nevertheless came to the right conclusion." I've got problems with Mann's cherry-picked "hockey stick" as well as with some of the ways they measure the data, and that's just the start, but what kind of scientist says, well, the facts are just wrong because they don't fit our conclusion? Isn't this like Animal Farm - "four legs good, two legs bad"? ![]() |

| Colonel Calamity | found another story about the earth going to cool severely due to sunspots disappearing, DailyTech - Solar Activity Diminishes; Researchers Predict Another Ice Age if anything, man made global warming should only make the temperature drop an average of 20º instead of 22º ![]() ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
