I saw the downturn just after he took office... it was slowly going down... then 9/11 and the wars helped boost it but now things are settling down to pre GWB level and look where we are.
I take the info and read between the lines and see that the most dangerous thing for this country and its economy (and everything else) is a Democrat anywhere near that office.
You think things are bad now? Wait until a Dem gets in office. Now not only will we have a recession, they will jack prices up, jack taxes up and shaft the public out of even more money screwing the economy even more.... but hey at least the welfare abusers get a $10 increase in their food stamps, and illegals get double the medical coverage they previously had... and our troops will be home to let Iraq fall into anarchy thus oil prices jump closer to $200 a barrel....

Granted much of this is speculation but very plausible if a Dem gets in office based on their prior track records.

Naw C'mon Joker. The past 8 years were much like the previous 8 years. The rich have grown richer while the poor have grown poorer. Therefore surviving hell is just a matter of perspective.

What I find interesting is the country has, as stated survived despite who was president, who was in control of the senate or the house. Go figure huh?

Now do we get back to the Global Warming thing? We can use one of the ecconomic threads to bash Bush, Clinton or the candidate of our choice.
