i'm actually getting the hang using GIMP 2.0... i just found out that if you need tutorials for GIMP, just type what kind of GIMP usage you want like : Google :> GIMP userbar TUT.
keyword is tut for tutorials it will show you what you need....

and this is the main tutorial site i'm using Users Submitted GIMP Tips & Tutorials
so to those who cant shell out $600.XX on adobe PS try this free open source program its lots of fun...

Yep, I know that site well.

And don't worry about the jacking - it's all good, we're all one big community here so every thread is everyone's (for the most part). More input in terms of what my thread was made for is only better for not only the members, but for the "showcasers" as well.

i'm really not good with words and making tutorials i'm more of practical application rather than theoretical, when i want to explain something i like to show them how by being with them while doing it...

in any case, i wont be able to make tut for userbar, but making them was fun...

i'll try to whip some more... it would be nice if we got an Official HL Icon... like a mascot or logo... Nate dont suggest your Hellow Kitty

That HardwareLogic one is nice. When you put it in your sig, wrap it with tags that link to the front page, like this:
