It's derived from "Beast" in the Marvel comics. That's one point where he became "Dark Beast" - looks way better than the original (blue, normal), this one's (obviously) black and..."suped up". Hence my nickname, <BEAST>, and the relation to "Photoshop <BEAST>".

Thanks!

How about one of these for a sig:

Click the image to open in full size.

And either of these for a matching avatar:

Very well done Blake.

The only thing I could say about that is that it looks a bit too "loud" in the middle...there is so much happening. Maybe the name should be smaller and more isolated, and the text aligned to either the west or east side.

I would say move the specs to the right and align it to the right. Make the name smaller, and bring it to the bottom left. You can leave it rotated any way you want. Leave the "spear" where and how it is, same with the characters. See how that works. This is your project now, so go with it.

BTW, I love both avatars.

EDIT:

The font in the sig makes it look too...I'm not sure...but I think it would look better as a Gill Sans MT, or Myraid Pro, or maybe even Tahoma - something smoother and more flowing. Just my $0.02.

Yeah, very good suggestions. It was my first draft, so I didn't spend too much time on it. I didn't want to put the text any place other than the middle as not to cover up the characters (which are hard to make out anyway). I'll check out those other fonts though, like I said, this was just a first attempt so I didn't even try other fonts... :dontknow:

EDIT:
Just looked and I don't have either of those fonts you listed (exept Tahoma obviously). I guess I'll have to go font hunting...

EDIT 3:
Here's another version with the text split up and using the "Footlight MT Light" font (which looked a little more WoW'ish to me):

I think azianai needs to get in there and give some feedback now...

see with that setup, i would reduce the size of his name down, and move it to the bottom right-hand side of the sig. it would look much more organized and properly laid out.
