Was wondering if someone could give me an address to send a PMO? I don't and won't ever use "PAY-SUCK" again. Please give some info, and my donation is on its way. Thanks, Bailey.

I'll send you Tom's mailing address tomorrow. Try to make sure if you send something directly to him that you use a money order or cashier's check....its dangerous to send cash through the mail, and checks are always held by banks from 5-10 business days to confirm the money.

Debit cards will work like a credit card, at least every one I've had.

Indeed. Both Debit cards and credit cards go through the credit company. You can even charge a Debit card like a credit card w/o the pin number, it will only take a few more days to clear the bank.

Depends on your bank, mine clears it immediately.

Hey guys, here's an update.

We were able to get into on-post housing. Since it's now privatized, we will be losing our monthly Basic Allowance for Housing. USAA has now shown up in force and are reassuring us that they will be paying our rent for us. We are in the on-post house now and need to go out and buy all new beds, bedding, dishes, pots&pans, clothes and the list goes on. Hopefully USAA will transfer some emergency funds to our checking account today or tomorrow. The logistics you have to go through are tremendous. Our pool has to be drained immediately or the city will do it and charge us the going rate for a crew. While individuals and some companies are being great, more so than I would have expected, the city is understandably extremely concerned about things like pools that can harbor insects and as is the case with our pool, large amounts of chemicals.

So, the deal is this. We have a place to live, we will be getting some basic furniture over the next few days and I have a physical address, just need to get that to you Rich. We have hired our own structural engineer to come in and give us his take on the house, and a detailed write-up comes with that, so this way, we have an outside source not under the insurance comapny's influence looking at the condition of our house.

Well, I need to get going...I'm at work on one of their computers and I have to meet up with some insurance peeps over at the house here shortly. Since we have moved on post now, I will not have Internet until the 15th of march. I'm dependant on where and when I can get on, so if you don't hear from me, that's why. If someone could transfer this post over to MPC for me, I'd appraeciate it.

Thanks again folks.

Tom
