| Functional Alcoholic | When I was a kid, From Kindergarten to 3rd Grade we lived in Pampa TX, which is a town in the Pan Handle of Texas. Tornados were pretty common there. I remember in school starting in about 1st grade we had to take Tornado Classes. They showed Movies (on a projector back then) of what to do in case of a tornado. If your outside to find the lowest ground and lay on your stomach and cover your head things like that. Then we would have Tornado drills once a month where we would go into the hallways and sit on the floor and cover our heads with our hands. One day when I was in the 2nd Grade, a real Tornado came through town. I remember sitting in the hallway and hearing the other kids cry, and the glass in our classrooms busting out. It was pretty freaky. I am not sure what level of tornado it was, but it wasn't a 5. I could only imagine what that would be like. I do remember when my mom was driving me home seeing trees that had fallen down onto houses and cars with broken windows. As soon as my Dad got another Job we moved out of that town LOL. |

| Well, now that my comp is back up after a major cleaning and OS overhaul, I can finally get in here to donate (once I figured out the donation thing, LOL!). Put me down for $20. Rich, you should be getting something about it soon at your Gmail. I wish I could give more...but there you are. Hang in there, Tom. I just saw an amateur video of the storm - and it looks intense - but I can't imagine what that was like. If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! |

| Tom man, you're in my prayers, and it's the best i can do right now, but as soon as i can i'll get in there ![]() and as to hiper donating the money, and tagan the PSU's, next time i get a PSU i know which two companies i'm debating over. You get the quality, and you know they actually DO care about their customers, not, "here's a PSU that won't affect our income, praise us" it's more like "how can we help?" There's people over there, something most companies don't have :ciao: |

| Tom, I'm sorry to have read about your losses over at INQ this morning. I chase storms in my spare time when I'm "bored" and have seen what they can do first hand. (Wrath of Nature) Its good you were paying attention to the weather that day and were in the right place in your house. Things can be replaced, great to see the hardware community pitch in and help make it happen. |

| I'm Diggin it! | Wow guys, I'm just at a loss for words. I really can't convey the emotions my wife and I are experiencing from having seen this thread this morning. USAA will be losing our business after all of this is settled. Here we are, 5 days after the tornado and the insurance company has yet to give us one penny. I've been burning up the phone lines trying to get a friggin advance from these idiots and so far have been met with more attitude and crap than help. We've got a huge day ahead of us and I need to get going. Just know that you guys, web sites and companies are being thought of by my whole family. I'm putting the word out to all of my friends and family about you folks.
