| Hubba,Hubba......Hubba | Speaking of food.....here is a recipe us hillbillies use, to make the best breakfast sausage around.The recipe is for 10lbs fresh sausage and converts it to breakfast sausage that Jimmy Dean would drewl over.This is the low to no salt version for the health minded. 1 Tbsp White crushed pepper 2 Tbsp Sage 1 Tsp Ginger 1 Tbsp Nutmeg 1 Tbsp Ground red pepper 1 Pint ice water 1/2 Tsp Cinnamin 2-3 Tbs Garlic ( can be adjusted to your liking of Garlic) 1 Tsp Rosemary leaves 1 Tsp Seasoned salt ( may be reconstituted with Seasalt) 1 Tbsp Onion powder 1 Tsp Chili powder 1/4 - 1/2 Tsp Paprika 1/4 - 1/2 Tsp Italian seasoning. In a large mixing bowl you hand mix this for about 5 min. Let stand in the refridgerator, covered ,for 5 to 8 hours. Remove,make your patties/links,store them appropiately. Ha! | Colonel Calamity | my recipes go like this... heat up BBQ grill, toss on meat, dump some BBQ sauce on the meat, flip it over... then eat when its pink in the middle (for red meat). No need for extra crap here and there, just meat and BBQ sauce and I am happy for hours on end, beer always helps as well. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
