Yep ... I was at the meeting where they were setting that up in our town. 15 years ago.

It is hard but not impossible to have kids without an SSN.

My Oldest turns 15 in a few days and we will get his so he can work.

Joker ... it is what sheeple want ... we voted it all in ... or we did not complain and take action ... or we inherited those errors that defy even the wisdom of the constitution ... not heeding the warnings of our founding Fathers.

So by default or precedent ... we inherited what "we the sheeple" have chosen.

Either we acknowledge that and completely change and make effort to re-direct the future of this country as best we can for the sake of our children ... or we pass its debt-ridden declining condition on to them and hope they will have the heart to do what we failed to.

Such is the nature of leadership or hypocrisy.

Im not amazed.Not long after we bought the house we are in now,my children were told to stay away from the lake,that the ice was not "good" enough to safely play on.They were around 4th-5th grade age.They knew right from left.One day , coming home from work, I noticed kids out on the ice.The ice wasnt even past the docks yet! I pulled into the driveway and went in the house to ask the wife if that was our kids down on the ice.She was in the process of putting her boots on,and yes it was our kids most likely down the lake as she had seen them sneak off towards the lake and was going after them.Well daddy-o here got real MAD and told the mama to stay the !@#$ here,I will go get them, and I did. Ater they reached the house, and I parked my bronco,I met them in the kitchen and made them all put thier hands on the breakfast bar.Ofcourse it was loud and im sure they were scared because they knew what was coming and why.I gave them all a smack with my belt on the butt and gave then orders to go to thier rooms and to think about what could have happened to them if they had fallen thru the ice, someone not stopped them.
Well, a couple weeks went by and as I was splitting firewood by hand on the driveway, this fancy government looking car pulls up and parks,and this classy looking younger than me lady gets out,asks me my name,and tells me she needs to speak with my children.She states she was from child and youth, and had complaints of me "beating my kids every day with a belt". You can imagine what I wanted to do to her when she spoke them words.That had been the first time I had ever chastised my children physically,and for damn good reason. Well this cough"lady" coughbi+++..
entered my home,with me and then told me to leave my home and go back out to the driveway,she had to question my children and I could not be present! Now that is BS! She did her thing with the kids,came back out,told me she saw no wrong doing and I could carry out my everyday living.I told her to get the $#%^ off my property,and the next time she comes she better have a court order to see my children privately,or i would sue the county and her.She never came back.
This is the American way?

Well ... oldman_gamer ... unfortunately it is law by precedent or agreement or acquiescence. It and many things like it are so so wrong ... even though there are cases where it is needed for good reason.

At any time anyone can challenge Jurisdiction ... but they best do so with complete respect and honor and a solid grasp on the law and a cell phone and a worthy attorney at the other end. However that brings us full circle to another very real problem ... the incestuous legal system ... and far too many [proper term] "Blood Sucking" Attorneys.

There can be change. I believe it and do my part often. Believe me ... I was on the inside of some very serious behind the scenes stuff that would make most give up any hope at all. If I believe it with what I know ... anyone can believe there is hope. A good friend of mine used to guard President Nixon . He knows a great deal of the same things I know ... and still believes there can be change too.

The fact is ... all who take a stand and make their voices heard in the realms of their influence ... they actually make an affect.

I don't care if you are the lead Barbershop croner ... if you are clear and authoritative and persuade with passion and sense those who have reason ... then it spreads.

Stupid "sheeple sense" spreads too with the blind leading the blind and "non-thinking" people simply cannot tell truth and reason from bad science or unfounded opinion.

If you don't stand in the sound reason and good sense and multiply it in your environ ... the weeds will take over with little effort.
