My wifes ok with the computers, but i do get this alot ......

LC - " I need to buy a new CPU"
Wife - "No you bought a new one two years ago, that should last at least 5 years!"

Anyways , yeh never overlook wireless security, not even for a second. I know a certain individual that can show you/do things that will make you scared to even hardwire back into the internet (all my linksys gear is in the garbage can now ) and moved to the D-Link DIR 655 on Athildja's recomendation.

We all make mistakes......luckily Jaemie knows better, and just uses compressed air to clean out the computers when I tell her to get her bitch ass busy cleaning the house......other popular phrases:

"Get your bitch ass in the kitchen and make cookies"
"Get your bitch ass in the kitchen and make me some dinner"
"I was only joking, please put the bat down"
"Please stop hitting me"
"Please unlock the door and let me in"

You still gonna RMA it? It'll look like a failure still, wouldn't it?

Nono we don't condone such things as RMAing items for unjust reasons. It's simply wrong Mr. ups.

So...you're gonna let us know when the replacement comes in?

Unfortunately, I don't have the personal make up to RMA something when I know it's due to my actions. Or that of others living in the house. I've said it before and I'll say it again, stupidity is expensive for a reason.

I've got a bandaid solution on the computer for now. Effectively, the OCZ 700W is running both computers with an Antec 250W running the actual mobo and CPU power. Right now, a $100 PSU just isn't doable. Regardless of the fact that my wife killed it, I just can't spend the money on one. My son's birthday is Dec 2, then Christmas, one of my Soldiers has had some financial issues due to his son being in the hospital, so I've "donated" some money to him anonymously, the electrician for the pool needs to be paid, the list of whining and crying goes on.

My wife is also fanatical about keeping the house clean.
After many years/tears of marriage, we've got a good system.
She doesn't mess with my wood shop or my computer room.

Now that we're in the new house, the entire basement and garage
are mine to make as messy as I deem required for a proper manliness
rating on the He-Man Scale.

She's never 'broken' anything, but in years past there have been
critical components come up missing after a cleaning by Her Royal
(PITA) Highness.

Wives are a necessary evil. You gotta come up with a system that works
for both of you to maintain a good balance.

I'm too cheap to not RMA it... I'm sorry, I know it's unjust, but I'd still do it.
