WWII had the greatest affect. It created Millions of jobs at companies that were awarded Government Contracts. It did take the focus off the economy and switched it to the War. Because most of the military aged males were involved in the war effort, it opened up jobs to other demographics.
Creating jobs is the best way to stimulate the economy. Non-working Americans are a drain on the economy while working Americans are an asset.

Obama was not born in Kenya but held dual citizenship with the U.S. and Kenya until his 21st birthday.

Also, it doesnt matter if he was "born" in Kenya, at least as far as citizenship goes. If the parent who is a US citizen is present, and has lived in the US at least 10 years, then their children can claim US citizenship.

For all the people complaining about this, John McCain was actually born in the Canal Zone in Panama.

Yeah ... the Supreme court of the USA ... really doesn't know what they are doing ... conferencing regarding the case ... if they knew what they were doing and experts at law and had years of experience ... they would not even conference over nor review the case ... ooops

They are in fact considering it for review because the case has merit ... geee ... They must be a bunch of smart well researched guys ... them there United States Supreme Court Justices ... yep educated men.

The point is that the US Supreme court Judges would not even consider conferencing over any case unless there was some sort of merit to it. They are supposed to be the best and brightest.

• I watch non-thinking opinionated people who are media drones who have not extensively researched the subject make sweeping opinions and reference some quick web link as though it means anything.
• I at least met with a credible source and conducted an interview to top off my already extensive research.
• I was being sarcastic ... the US Supreme Court Justices only even conference over cases for review if the material information has merit.
• My point is that ... if they are reviewing it ... then there must be some materials beyond what "average Joe opinionated" understands beyond quick web link tripe.
• I bothered to run an investigation with a primary source who actually had inside knowledge and inroads to the political brass of Kenya. My interview was regarding other topics but that topic was discussed and one of my team have stayed in contact with them since.
