You need to move to Vegas Ron, it was in the mid-70s today and will be in the 80s tomorrow.

not too bad, its typically 100-105 with less than 15% humidity, and we have a pool.......what I usually do is open all the windows at night to cool the house, then close the windows in the morning, trapping the cooler air....then i use ceiling fans to circulate the air.

when people we know come to town, they always talk about how hot it is down on the Strip (a couple hundred thousand people, all the cement, cars, no wind, all those ponds and pools...its typically 12-15F warmer there than at the house.

The thought has crossed my mind, especially as I sit here freezing my ass off and chipping ice.

Actually the South West was a consideration. Kathy loves Phoenix which to me has become an overpopulated nightmare. Overall I have always liked the desert.

So like when can I expect David Stockman's plan to kick in? Just seems I have been waiting for awhile.

The wife and I have been discussing moving to Phoenix since she can transfer her job there.

When we do it, it should be in about 4 to 5 years. Fortunately, jobs won't be a consideration as we will both be well retired.

Currently, the Carolinas are looking good. We both do, however, love the Southwest. Kathy has a cousin there she trys to visit every year, generally in March to get the hell out of here.
