Besides the fact that I probably could run the wires (speaker, electric, etc) thru a hole in the wall, she detests exposed wires showing anywhere. She goes as far as putting things (furniture) in front of outlets to hide them. We don't have an answering machine because of the exposed wires. Plus, she's the one that picked out the thing the tv sits in!!!

Get the model number on it do a little online research and if it still looks like a good deal.........Then by all means......convince him to buy it!!

Got this thing hooked up this weekend. I ended up getting a receiver and a 5 disc dvd upconvert player all hdmi compatable. I hooked it up and broke it in with Black Hawk Down. Hell I may never go to the movies again. 50" HDTV television watching is AWESOME!
