yes he has done a few but not many... not nearly as many as Peyton or any of the other bigger names nowadays.... although I do think it is funny that some of the retired ones like Joe Montana and from that generation are starting to do some more commercials and commentary. Maybe Brett will after a few years but I think he is happier running around on his Mississippi ranch than chasing sponsors

I'm just giving you grief. There's no denying Peyton is a commercial whore, which has caused me to despise Eli (based on association) even before the Super Bowl upset.

On a side note, I always got a kick out of Favre's Mastercard commercial.

I know, its cool, when he does them it is the normal calm and cool Favre, not some hyped up playing football with kids like a pedophile type of commercials...
Eli is still young so it is a matter of time before we see if he will follow more along the lines of his brother or Favre or maybe his own person entirely that allows his career to overshadow that of his brothers... only time will tell

I dunno. I see Farve doing Bowflex commercials these days, He gets enough impact during the game. ^^

Brady fans have no room to bash Ben.......Ben isn't whoring himself out to GQ....he doesn't wear gay sweaters and suites to post game press conferences, and he's never been pictured passionately holding a goat.

Granted, Ben isn't dating a super model, that I know of, but I've seen plenty of gay guys hanging out with hot chicks

But hey, I've read your many opinions/threads/pics throughout the year bashing on Brady/Belichick/Patriots/Boston, that it finally warranted a counter opinion of at least Pittsburgh, and I'll reserve the right to comment on the Mariners at a later date. You know how hard it was not to talk smack after the Patriots and Steelers game earlier in the year? I had to hide my keyboard!

You got me on the goat thing, even if Stinger didn't see anything wrong with it.

As for Ben, while I don't see him ever getting a second ring, I will admit I think he'll have more Super Bowl appearances...during cheesy commercials.

Ben overrated? Look at the system he plays in, without cheating. Look at the stats he put up this year despite having no offensive line line front of him. Then all you hear is Brady this and that (and while i think Brady is good, I think ESPN could slobber on him a lot less).....then its the Mannings and Romo, very seldom do you hear anything about Ben.

As to the M's, you couldn't possibly be any more critical of them than I am, the FO has completely run the team into the ground.
