He hasn't even been to the apartment since he was first arrested and sent to prison..As far as he is concerned, everything has probably been burned and thrown out..

You'd be surprised...maybe his uncle that used to molest him gave him that monitor, or it belonged to the first person he killed......it might have enough sentimental value that nothing will ever stop him from trying to get it back

this wierd guy IMd me today asking if I knew a kid in rhode island who just got a sweet monitor. I told him yeah and gave him your contact info. He said he would get in touch with you and your doughnut or something to that effect so you know. So if he shows up, don't worry, it's just him.

LOL, On a serious note, I hope your Dad has on the lease agreement that any personal property left in the Apartment after a certain amount of time becomes the property of the Management. Most Leases do, this covers them so they can throw stuff away that’s left behind by tenants. As long as this is stated in the agreement, you can keep the monitor as long as you like because it now belongs to your Dad.
