Macs are not really my thing, but I respect what they are designed to do. For instance, the Mac version of Adobe Photoshop really is superior to the PC version, and the whole iLife thing is giving some people a life that didn't have one at all before it came around. As for pure computing power, now that you can run Windows on a Mac, you may notice there are fewer differences than you want, and your "rage" toward them is unfounded.

Then again, everyone is definitely entitled to their own opinion, and if someone would rather hold a grudge based on outdated information, that is their right.

I would be more open minded, but:
-The commercials piss me off A LOT (in case you couldn't tell)
-The statements they make are almost all false
-The 80%+ of the people who own macs are people more concerned with looks than functionality.

What I personally hate about macs:
-upgrading is a PITA
-Lack of compatibility with a majority of games
-over-priced
-lies told in advertising

What I personally hate about macs:

Anyways lack of compatibility with games is because of the game developers being too lazy to port their games games to OSX.

And for the rest of the stuff, I could say the EXACT same thing about Dell, Compaqs, etc...

I almost almost say the same about Dell, Compaqs, and HP compys. Only difference is that big manufacturers are pre-loaded with bloated fecal matter.

I don't watch much TV but since my back went out today I had some time to watch, the one I saw was the PC guy getting a webcam taped to his head and the installer said "oh he already has one built in"

I just don't see the point. Either one can be used for work or play. It just happens that the PC is better at the playing part (and working part). The mac has a specific narrow target user and everyone else (read 85-90% of people) will find using a PC will do the job they need better (or at least do it, were the mac is not able to do it).

I love Macs. It may have the worst support in games (well, technically, that's Linux), but it has the best support in video/film production. If you try comparing Final Cut Pro to Adobe Premiere in Windows (best equivalent), it's so off. Sure, it's somewhat the same, but I still can't cling onto Premiere like I did with FCP. Plus, there's so many random apps for everything.

On top of that, iLife is tha shiznit. I'm so totally buying a Mac whenever I can (MacBook Pro... ).
