My friend shot a shotgun, I really want to. He said it hurt his shoulder a lot. I never been to a range, that would be a fun experience too.

Haha, I spent my youth playing around with acetone and hydrogen peroxide...launched a 30 pound anvil decently high up too. Flamethrowers are pretty fun with denatured alcohol and a grill torch. Homemade rocket launchers are the best though, using the huge D/E grade engines from Wal-Mart. A pressurized water rocket works well too for smaller distances. Then there was the mortar made of Coke cans...
You kids and your guns.

I was raised in the country so shooting guns became a favorite pasttime fairly early on. We started with pellet and BB guns and then up to small rifles life a .243 then by the time it was legal age for me to hunt, my dad had a .308 Winchester for deer or a 12 gauge for pheasant. A friends dad had an M4, M16 and a Chinese AK47.
ah yes fun times... but that was decades ago
I still have a full rifle sized competition pellet rifle that with a single pump is accurate up to 80 yards or more. This is what helps keep the damn squirrels from chewing on my house.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I got to shoot my uncles 10 gauge goose gun when I was a kid, you have to keep that thing pulled tight against your shoulder if you don't want bruises. I lived in the mountains for a few years as a kid so guns and explosives were pretty common for entertainment.
