I have heard everything from $7 a gallon by next year to it start going down to sub $3 a gallon after a few months. We can bitch all we want we still pay on the average less then the rest of the world. We now pay what they have all been paying for years. Yes it sucks, but we better get used to it because it's not going to get any better. It will spark quite a few changes to the way we live and travel over the next few years. Like the gas crisis of the 70's forced car manufactures to ditch full size cars in favor of compact, and speeds dropped from 70-55 on major US freeways. I see alternative fuels, hybrid cars, and mass transit becoming a lot more popular. |
