Just paid $3.36 a gallon on post here in Alabama.

Gas is at 1.129/liter here. That's at Safeway, where you can save 3.5 cents/liter with a Club card

. It's the lowest price in town, if you're a Safeway Club card holder. I don't have to worry about prices yet, cause I still don't own a moped or a motorbike.

$3.44 a gallon here in Oklahoma. Between my wifes car and my truck I am paying about $120 every two weeks just to go to work and back home.

Just be glad you're not paying for Diesel @ ~$4.10/gal. The fuel bill for the truck alone on my trip was $2400.

rough conversion....
1 gal(CAN) = 1.20 gal(US) (not important to this equation)
3.786 litres = 1 US Gal
1.00 CAD = 0.993 USD (conversion taken just a few minutes ago at latest market price)

US$3.40 per Gal US = US$0.90 per liter or CAN$0.89/L
CAN$1.129/L = US$1.122/L or US$4.25 per US Gal

I have been looking for a direct conversion site but have not found any yet so I did it myself...

Well thanks for that, I am sure our Canadian members will appreciate the time you took to show a true comparison between our gas prices. Also proving once again our gas prices are still among the lowest in the world.

But they're still high!

I remember when a gallon was $.84. And I thought anything above $1.00 was expensive!

Sorry I dont know about gallons but around here in the UK its not rare to see unleaded at about 105p (about $2 at current exchange rate) per litre

1.00 GBP = 1.99668 US
3.786 litres = 1 US Gal

GBP1.05 per liter = GBP3.975 per US Gallon = US$7.94 per Gallon
