I've cut CPU pins without wearing eye safety. Needless to say now I USE safety glasses whenever I cut something. Those shards of metal come flying insanely fast. =/

good catch, I have 3 of them now. One cheapo Kmart brand that amazingly still works 2 years later, one regular Dremel brand corded model and a cordless Dremel brand model (7700-01)

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I have no reason for a dremel, as I have nothing to cut. My dad and bro have on just in case though.

Dremel? Nuts. HERE's what you really want. :) :)

Okokok, ya gotta start somewhere, I know.

Keep in mind that tool you have works with speed, not power. Don't put a lot of pressure on it while cutting. Make a series of small, light cuts, don't try to blast your way through. And like somebody said already, EYE PROTECTION!!

I have that same Dremel kit. Along with my battery operated Dremel. It's an excellent starting kit. You'll be surprised at how you require some of the accessories that are available for these things.

Dremels are great...have two myself(ones about 15yrs old..still kicking!). The new ones are almost dead quiet at the lowest speed(my old one sounds like a hairdryer at any speed...not to good for those late night inspirations...LOL!)

It's nice to see that Dremel is putting out accessory kit's(bit's, sanding drums, etc...) and they're reasonably priced too(as opposed to buying them individually).
