That looks like a gun range on a military spot in SD that I have been through... either way it looks like a good paint job, someone went to alot of detail...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

BTW I will be cleaning out some of my collection soon including a New Dillon 650B complete setup ... and an M21 if you might know any interested.
A man after my own heart. I love my M1A! Likewise I find it to be a superiour rifle. I am also a Garand nut of sorts. Having converted a number of M1 Garands to .308 and one to 7-08 the love affair with the M1A came natural. I still own all my tools for working on both the M1A and M1 Garand as well as a host of other smithing tools. No shortage of throaters and reamers here.

The Dillon 650B is tempting but would you believe most of my precision loads are born to a Rock Chucker? LOL. I buy all this shit and cling to that rock chucker. I even trim brass. LOL.

Though I love the Garand and M1A I also love building up Remington actions. I caught a accuracy bug that never went away. Damn that bug. I also have screwed with the 6PPC blowing out LAPUA Russian 220 cases and doing build your own.

Some folks were destined to be rifle nuts!

Takes a real man to use a hello kitty gun. I can see rambo and arney now tearing through the jungle with their hello kitty guns and camo.

Capper, if the rifle can shoot sub .5 MOA groups pink Hello Kitty is fine with me.

A baseline M1A the civilian version of the M14 (no disconnect for full auto fire) runs about $1,500 with a good NM (National Match) version running about 2K. Just about what some folks invest in a high end machine. On a plus note in 5 years when the high end machine has depreciated the rifle will appreciate.

Capper ... on the AK ... make sure it is a milled receiver ... Bulgarian are the best. There are very few Chinese and Russian Milled AK's ... I would get rid of mine but what would I do with all the Ammo ... except for crack the concrete where it is stored.
Though if someone wanted the package I would let it go for market.

The M1A is the Civi variant for the M14 ... Springfield makes one of the best. Smith enterprises perhaps makes them better because they are Billet carved. The chinese actually make a good receiver and with GI parts and a good armorer ... right up there with Springfield.

They run from $800 [Chinese] to $2700 M21 ... Mine is selling soon for that ... less than 20 rounds thru it.

I do know a friend who needs the cash ... I sold him a Loaded with National Match upgrades with some supermatch internals ... Likely his will go for $1500 ... Synthetic ... it is worth more than $1500 ... I should know ... because it was mine before it was his. Don't recall if he has the scope mount with it though.

Fulton Armory also has excellent M1A M14 Rifles.

Heya Ron ... The first Clinton proved to me that gold and arms are decent inflation hedges with some appreciation in excess.
