This totally blows bud. They should have at least given you the option to choose another AFSC. Was your heart set on Space Systems Operations or were you willing to choose another job? I ask this because I simply can't beleive that they would deny you enlistment in the Air Force of any AFSC just for ADD. In the decade I spent in the AF, I knew plenty of people who had ADD prior to enlistment and took medication for it. Yet, they still worked jobs like 2A3X3B (F-16 crew chief) and excelled at it. Hell, my flight chief in Korea had ADD, and this guy was a lifer, an E-7 with almost 20 years in.

I think you got screwed man. However, I think that the opportunity that opened itself in front of you now was for a reason. You are smarter, more mature and definitely driven to excell. I am glad to see that you are taking this as a learning experience and applying what you learned in basic in your civilian life. Good luck! You'll do fine.
