They are especially tough on this old man who (a.) spent seven years active duty, (b.) has one son active duty who will be returning to Iraq for the second time in March, and (c.) has another son in the reserves (planning active duty after college) who has had one cancelled deployment, and will eventually make it there.

37 days till our last man is out (commander, csm, ect) then i suppose we'll arrive home sometime around November 20 give or take a few days. i would prefere the 16th or 17th but likely it wont happen. at any rate ill be glad to be home. yeah i would still like to come out there and hang out with you all. ill have to see what all is going on once i get back and get everything sorted out. as soon as i know, ill let you know
