I have 3 backups of all my keys.
One on my main drive, with my ISO backups, one with the actual physical CD, and one in my external with all my ISO backups :)

Yes you can. You can beat any tangible object with a stcik. You could get in trouble though. ugh, anyways

Yea, the key is stored in the registry.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2

If you formatted the partition of your hard disk with the systemroot, kiss your key goodbye. The registry is gone. Talk to EA, they're usually cool about this kind of stuff.

It's a wonder how EA gets away with charging for that kind of crap, and do it with a clear conscience. Look at the condition 2142 and BF2 are (still) in.

It's like MMO's. You are basically paying the company to beta test their games.

I don't see anything wrong with 2142.

[edit]Besides the cost to rent a server.... LMAO!

On a funny-ass side note regarding EA:
in Company of Heroes, on the jeeps, for their numbers it says
3A5UX5
