Additionally burgers are made with meat, not vegetables. Real meat like beef from real slaughtered cows.

Hot Dogs? WTF is with hot dogs. There is another sacrilege in the making. For damn near ever hot dogs were made with beef. Granted pices and parts but good old beef. Now you play hell trying to find a real hot dog. If I want pices and parts of chickens or hogs I will buy them, likewise turkey. I don't want them in my damn hot dogs. I won't even get into hot dogs with casings. They present a whole new shopping problem.

Condiments? Mustard on hot dog and ketchup or catsup on a burger. Those two condiments seem to get confused. Baby shit yellow mustard does not belong on a burger anymore than catsup belongs on a hot dog. Damn!

Ron
Look for the brand "Nathans" hot dogs. 100% beef, no fillers or extra crap in them. They are a bit pricey when compared to the rest of the hot dogs out there but well worth it but they taste so good. I myself am a ketchup person: hot dog, hamburger, fries, tater tots, hash browns. No mustard for me on anything. Also I only use Miracle Whip on certain sandwiches (ham, turkey or bologna with cheese, sliced bread).
Now the wife has completely different tastes... mayo on sandwiches, burgers, mayo + ketchup on hotdogs, fries...

Oh god, you ketchup and her mayo-ketchup?? MAYO-KETCHUP??? You know that's the kid's number 1 choice dip right? :P

And dang, I hate how pricey beef hot dogs are. I try to have 1-2 each year, but for the rest of the time it's chicken crap mostly. :(

My older daughter is like me, mostly just ketchup only. Even most burgers I order at fast food is usually ketchup only. Don't care for lettuce, pickles and all the extras on there. Beef, cheese and ketchup, nothing else.

Yes polo, a 8 pack of Nathans hot dog at the local stores run $3-4 per pack compared to $1 for the regular cheap ones or $6/pack for the soy fake types.

In Germany if you didn't ask for ketchup you would get mayonnaise with your fries. In some restaurants you would have to pay for ketchup, where Mayo was complementary.

Miracle Whip all the way here. Mayo tastes like Crisco with a little lemon juice added to me. Same as others, its what I grew up with. The rest of the family likes mayo, so dual potato salad here too. Same as my parents, my dad likes Miracle Whip, my mom liked mayo.

I've also made my own Miracle Whip, but with vinegar, Splenda, and paprika, when I was doing the Atkins diet. A little runny, but tasted the same.

Yeah man, I'm still alive. I think I've spent about 75% of every waking moment that I'm not at work for the past month doing reviews. That includes part of a day at a cardiologist and a whole day at a hospital. (my wife had a heart catheterization 1.5 weeks ago...she's fine due to the miracles of modern medicine)

I finished one late last night and decided to take today off. Sitting here staring at two motherboards that I should take photos of while the sun is out. (first time in over a week)

They're both gross so I avoid them. But when I do make the rare tuna sandwich, I used Miracle Whip (although I voted neither in the poll).

Ah yes screwball, per your earlier post Nathans. Every trip to NY we make includes a trip to Nathans. The good news is Nathans recently became available here in Cleveland, Ohio. Yes, there is a God! I can buy Nathans with skins, as well as Hebrew National and a brand called 5 Star all with casings. Yes, they cost but a fine hot dog like I grew up with is well worth the cost. A good all beef hot dog is priceless!

When you bite into a good casing dog it will "snap" as anyone knows.

Ron
