Nah, makes sense...they don't want to give you a free O/S...they want you to try out and test a beta since you already have the gold. Ahem...all I want is the key.

I took Vista...I already have Office 2007, which I can't stand....I uninstalled it and reinstalled my old faithful 2000. Was kind of stupid that I had to save everything in 2003 format so someone else could read it.
The Microsoft Office compatibility pack solves this issue. As long as the person opening the files has their IT rep install this on their machine, they'll have no issues opening and saving to 2007 formats.

I've been on this panel for awhile now, and have no idea what they 'collect' from my computer, but don't really care right now since I don't surf pron sites. I received both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Ultimate about 4 months ago, and other than my AIO HP not working with Vista still, everything else was pretty much painless. It was a PITA trying to get the HP installed, and after a month of trying, gave up and installed the AIO on my other computer.
They are both full versions of Vista that I got. Wasn't any offer at that time for Office tho. No manuals, just the 2 DVD's.

I got office free on the last give away but I would have just stayed with my office XP otherwise.

Hey all,
Just got this, this evening from the Feedback Panel:

Please note that we are running a big campaign to get some more Windows Vista participants into our feedback program. In case you know anyone who may want to join. We are still giving out a nice incentive for anyone who joins. Details can be found on http://wfp.microsoft.com. It says it closed 11/07, but we’re leaving it open for a little longer.[/font]

For now, the products choices available to panelists are:

· Windows Vista Ultimate
· Office 2007 Ultimate
· Streets & Trips 2008
· Microsoft Student w/Encarta 2008
· Money Premium Plus

Tell your friends!
THANKS SO MUCH
Christina
The Windows Experience Team
