Wonder if it is a upgrade version or standalone? Guess I'll find out. The key is the real goodie anyway.

There are three restrictions, however:

1. You must be 18
2. You must live in the United States
3. You must be running Windows Vista

This offer ends tomorrow, November 7th, 2007. Here's the LINK. I don't have Vista so I'm out of luck. =(
Thanks for the link. I opted for office as I have a version (OEM) of Vista Ultimate as yet uninstalled.

Interesting is if you visit the site with XP the options are greyed out and they know it is not a Vista machine. However, when I visited with my laptop running Vista it was a snap. I opted for Office as I still have that uninstalled Vista Ultimate.

Thanks Again
Ron

Well being the 32 bit, and 64 bit on the same DVD, I am to assume that it is a stand alone full version of Vista Ultimate with key, and not an OEM version

And I did the Vista thingy with them some time ago, as a tester, but I tried it on this again, and they didn't send my a notice that I was not eligible, so I chose the Vista Ultimate as well

My only concern was the questions about my sexuality (straight) and political affiliation (southerner), why would they need to know that?

I opted for the Vista Ultimate since I already have a couple copies (cost of S&H) of Office 2007 Enterprise :)

Kind of odd that you have to have Vista already to get a free copy of
Vista...

Edit: Would have been nice to have the option of getting a free copy of .NET 2007 or something
instead of Vista, Office and the like.

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread.

I recall filling out a long-ass survey to get a free USB key from MS last year. Never saw it...
Paul know's what I'm talking about.

Good looking out. I filled out everything and now have the client running in the background. I'll make a personal note to be looking for my copy of Vista Ultimate in 3-4 months.

Had to disconnect the HDD with all my movies and MP3's from this computer though. Don't want MS dicking around looking at my collection of "stuff."

And no, there's no porn in my collection. I don't typically look at that kinda stuff. Well, I sometimes look at it when you guys post stuff here....

I had completely forgotten about that until this post. I sat up many a nights watching out my window, hoping the MS USB fairy would come, only to cry myself asleep.

I did get a free copy of Office 2007 from that "webinar" thing a while back, so some of these promotions are legit.

Ah....not only a fellow paratrooper, but a fellow Confederate-American too. LOL

Nah, makes sense...they don't want to give you a free O/S...they want you to try out and test a beta since you already have the gold. Ahem...all I want is the key.

I took Vista...I already have Office 2007, which I can't stand....I uninstalled it and reinstalled my old faithful 2000. Was kind of stupid that I had to save everything in 2003 format so someone else could read it.
