| Really? Mail on Christmas? Mail didn't run here... hopefully I'll get my copy of Vista tomorrow. You have some pretty dedicated mail guys over there. ![]() ![]() |

| A Lonely Geek | Yeah, I didn't know until recently, the mail actually runs in a lot of places to deliver parcels only...potential presents. They don't run here though....I'm glad, I hate for anyone to have to work on Christmas. My wife has to go to work here shortly. Screw Walmart. |

| Colonel Calamity | This area is pretty much shut down on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter). This includes almost all restaurants (the only one I know was open was a chinese restaurant), grocery stores, even the 3 walmarts in our area were closed for 24 hours and they are all open 24/7/364. I know the post office is closed until 8AM next morning. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| HL's Technomancer | Got my copies in hand today, thanks Ballmer and friends! Each disc does come with it's own unique serial key so everyone who got theirs in has two copies of Ultimate, one 32-bit and one 64-bit. This is what the enclosed letter says on it: "In this package you will find two DVDs containing Microsoft Windows Vista: 32-bit and 64-bit version. Information regarding the difference between the two DVDs can be found later in the this document. Each DVD has its own product key which will allow you to install and activate one retail license of either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of Windows Vista Ultimate Edition." So you can install and activate either one on your computer, and since both keys are unique to each disc you can install the other one on another computer as well. Pretty sweet deal there. |

| Colonel Calamity | DOUBLE THE DEAL FOR ME I signed up for the original program when it was Vista only which was only the survey, not an actual program to download.... then I signed up again when it opened up to XP users as well... The first set I got on Christmas Eve, the second set I got today much to my surprise. So now I have 2 sets of each OS... I will still be testing to see if the 64-bit is activated, the other will not or if it will. I would assume so but only further testing will tell, I will report back here in another week or two when I have the time to fully test it. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
