| I would say that Ride the Lightning is my favorite album, although AJFA is a great album as well. I guess I'm part of the minority that has liked the music that Metallica has put out over the years. Garage Inc., Load, and Reload are great albums with great music. Fact is, I don't care about the band so far as they continue putting out good music. And yes, I know that there are many here who think that Metallica's music is not "good" by any means. Regardless, I still enjoy the band, and wish them luck in their battle with the bloggers. |

| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | The Spinal Tap album was the grave, everything after were shovels of dirt. And it's been well documented why they have such conflict with fans, themselves, and all that tormoil...it's that stupid, tennis playing, latte sipping, Berkley bred drummer...freaking Lars. He's been on the edge of every issue since their inception, from kicking Mustain out, to the change in direction, to all the suits, giving Newsted the ultimatum to leave, and forever just being a PITA in general. Hell, he more than likely even made Cliff Burton trade him bus seats. If they'd kicked him out while recording No Life 'Til leather, they could still be rocking it out as far as I know. LOL...Paul, you be funny yo. Ya know, it reminds me of AC/DC when you mention 50's do-wop and 60's psychedelics making it to rock/metal. I'm not into those games and like rock, not pop. I do like anime though! Last edited by Boy'nBlack; June 12th, 2008 at 15:07. |

| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | That movie had me understanding more. Not in a good way, but understanding why they're hosed. But to see Mustain on there being a bit of a bitch too...that should have been televised, and he should have punched them in the belly and walked out. Lars and Kirk kissed in some rock mag. I canceled and withdrew any last hope that this was a rock band and not some lost hope for popfrom San Fran. |
