Lots of things, I don't agree with anything his is planning. I havn't heard one word out of his mouth that I agree with. I disagree with him on every issue. I am in the Military, and will be retiring in about 7 years, if he gets elected he will cut military retirement. Democrats are very bad for the Military overall. Clinton practically dismantled it. It's taken 8 years for us to finally get caught back up after all the budget cuts Clinton put in place. When Democrats say "Balanace the Budget" they mean cut the military and raise taxes. Democrats are great if you're poor and on welfare, not so great if you have a job and make over 24k a year.

I agree things need to change in this country, but Obama isn't going to bring the changes we need. You can't do a U turn in a bus going 65MPH on the freeway, and you can't change a country in 4 years.

We nuked the political forum because we want everyone to feel comfortable at HL, and politics is one of those topics were feelings can quickly get hurt and friends turned into enemies. So no, we don't encourage outright political topics (like opening a McCain vs Obama thread).

That said, if a thread goes in the direction of politics, we'll keep it open so long as everyone remains civil and respectful of others' opinions.
