We are talking about a guy that collects flashlights!!!! yeah you're right batteries corrode over time, and if the flashlights aren't being used then no reason to have batteries in them.

I always used to keep a Mag light in my truck. I had one that actually got lost under some other stuff behind my seat. It was probably there 3+ years. I found it one day and the batteries had leaked all over and corroded inside the flashlight. I tried cleaning it but it was a total loss.

If you read his captions, you'll see that there is one set that he presumably keeps fully loaded/charged and uses.

OMG! They are friggin FLASHLIGHTS! WTH is so collectible about them?

I don't get it. But then again, those folks probably wouldn't "get" my CPU collection.
