That's true... though I don't have the possibility of dealing with maggots, I do have the risk of getting old, grimy soda syrup on my hands - which has happened - or hitting a 2 liter bottle with the hand truck or dropping a 12 pack case and having it explode soda everywhere - which has happened - or dropping a boatload of cases of water in a K-Mart (Twice!).

My hours may go down next week when I go solo, or they may stay the same, since I still barely know what I'm doing. Monday should be fun - I get to do a route that, among other things, takes me to a strip bar to deliver and yet another to pick up the payment. I wonder if the deliveries scheduled after that one will get done? :fisheye:

Most jobs are whatever you can take from it, attitude wise. Your's seems to be o.k. in that department. A lot of jobs may seem like they suck at first, thats just because you're new to it. Once you get the hang of things I'll bet it won't be so bad, even when the pace picks back up.

What areea of N.M. is your 'area'?

I've been trying to keep things in perspective - to keep a good attitude about it. The only thing I might run into problems with is if something unusual happens with a customer and I have to do something with the little computer that I'm unsure of. Other than that, it should be okay.

What area? Monday, they're keeping me as close to the terminal as they can so someone can go and help me out if I have a problem. When they hired me, I was told they wanted me on local "in town" routes. So far, I've spent more time "out of town" with the trainer guy, so right now it could go either way.
