Seriously, what makes this really cool is that you were able to be there. Something I am sure that was important Haultz. Haultz is the type kid I am proud of and when he enlisted he had guys like you to encourage him. That shit is special!

Haultz Update:

I just got a call from Haultz wife. This morning Haultz was running with his Platoon and passed out. When he fell he cut his face and broke his jaw. He had to get stitches and tomorrow they will be wiring his mouth shut. I called him in his room and talked to him for about 15 min. He sounded real drugged out from the morphine, but he was able to talk. He his ok, and will recover, although his training is delayed for about a month or maybe longer. If any of you guys want to call him PM me and I will give you the number. I told him I would call him back in a couple of days to check on him.

Yeah poor guy, first he breaks his ankle in Basic, now his face before AIT. Rich mentioned that his new Nickname should be Mr. Glass. He told me on the phone that his face is swollen, and he looks like somebody beat the crap out of him. A month set back isn't bad, he is active duty so it's not like he is going anywhere anyways. At least he is in the Army and can do nothing for the next month and still get paid.
