Believe it or not this is the 4th PCS for my computer desk. I have to fix it every time, but she still goes together. I don't have any nice furniture, I gave up after my first PCS. I will buy nice stuff when I retire.

OK, so check this out. My hold baggage was being shipped today. For those of you that don't know, Hold Baggage, is your basic items that you need, but can't take on the plane. Since your Household Goods typically get shipped 6 weeks prior to leaving an overseas duty station there are some things you need to keep your house running, like a TV, DVD Player, Computer, Kitchen stuff, things of that nature. So I was told that the movers would be at my house between 8am and 4pm (0800-1600). The transportation inspector shows up at 11am (1100) to tell me that the movers wouldn't be there until after 4pm (1600) or later. So my wife and I take care of some things we needed to finish up before turning the house over tomorrow. We waited and waited for the movers, finally it was 7pm (1900) and we gave up, figured they weren't coming. I already planed on calling the inspector first thing in the morning to complain. Well at 9pm (2100) right when my wife and I were about to go to bed, the F*cking movers show up. YEAH WTF, they had some excuses bla bla bla, so they packed my Sh*t up and didn't finish until 10:15 pm (2215). By the time they showed up I had already started drinking for the evening. I had some beer I had to get rid of before I left tomorrow. So when they showed up I offered them some, so within the hour all my beer was gone, and my vodka (one of the guys was Russian), so at least they did me the favor of getting rid of some of my beverages I couldn't take.

Actually, earlier it was a different one...now it is the green card one....it was an outline of the statue of liberty, guess what it is and you may win the chance to come to the US...or something like that.
