you gotta turn the boot right before the bubble pops otherwise you get beer all over your face. (in case you guys haven't seen that movie)

Anyway, back to the subject.
I personally don't think I could live in a land-locked state. I don't know why, but I could only live in a coastal area.

Is there any good hunting or fishing (lakes?) in the Oak?

I don't hunt or fish, but you can drive fast, the beer rocks, and the women have asses that are out of this world.

I beg to differ.... as I have been in Finland for the past almost month.

I gotta say, Scandinavian buns are to die for..... even when they are wrapped up in 3 layers of pants and a winter coat :P

hopefully the move IS uneventful and everything arrives stateside in one piece (including the truck)...
you will likely enjoy cheaper gas (in most places under $3 a gallon) and may have to make sure your new place has a bomb bunker with plenty of food as the tornadoes in OK are a nuisance...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I pay the US average on post, and it's been under $3 a gallon for several weeks. Tornado's rarely touch down in the city limits of Lawton. Wichita Falls which is less then an hour away gets most of the tornado attention in that area.

Well today was my unofficial last day of work here in Germany. I cleared off my desk today, deleted everything off my computer (Good and Bad) and turned it in. I still have a few more things to do before I leave. They are picking up the rest of my stuff tomorrow, and the guy that bought my BMW is picking it up tomorrow. The pets have to have their flight checkup tomorrow. Thursday I clear Military Housing (hopefully for the last time ever) and Friday I do my final out processing. We don't fly until Monday so we are stuck in a hotel on post until then. Everyone pray that my 4runner is in Dallas when I get there Monday. So far it's not there yet, and its a long damn walk from Dallas TX to Lawton OK with 2 Cats, a Dog, 4 large bags, and a wife.

Yeah brother, be safe and have a good flight. Hopefully, your truck will be there. If not, call somebody besides me.

Good luck with everything!
