| My two cents... One thought that I have is that you could go to your professors during their office hours. Talk to them about how you feel the course load is unfulfilling. Maybe one or two might take an interest and actually show you other things you could do while at school (special projects, etc.). You could also challenge them to teach you more, or teach better. If you approach someone in a non-confrontational way and its obvious you've got a thirst for learning then often they'll take time to help you on the way - just look at all the responses you've gotten so far from this group alone based on a few posts. The professors may seem boring and stuffy, but I guarantee you at least one of them would be able to help and might like having someone around who is really interested... ![]() |

| try to keep a positive attitude and make the most of your college experience. i know how you feel when you say your teachers sometimes seem inexperienced in the lessons they put out. i've felt that before but you'll find that there are both really good and really bad professors just like in real life you'll have good and bad supervisors, coworkers and friends. i had to take micro economics with no real interest in the subject but the professor was awesome and it turned out to be my favorite subject last semester to the point where i was eager to go to that class. |

| and btw if you're just goin through your 1st semester, gotta give it a little man. Dropping out is the worse thing you can do. Most people who "take a break" end up not going back for a LONG ASS TIME |
