I will be hitting 30 at the end of Feb and am already mostly dark grey with a little remaining blonde... my dad was the exact same way... but we wear it well.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Should I have SMART enabeled? And how do I go about it? BIOS? And, when I was reading about the SG 500gb HDD 32mb cache and how some of these units were coming set up with a lower cache.Where can I check to see if /what it is set at?

Yes, SMART can be set in the BIOS. I'd have it enabled just to keep tabs on your HDD's health.

And no magic smoke was released! Good job man.

Let us know what you think about 64-bit Vista! As for HDD cache sizes, you can check them with HD Tune (click the Info tab). If it doesn't show up as the right cache size, it looks like Seagate has a fix here...

Im still on the old PC...cant seem to give it up,it's been real good to me.I will hook the new one up tomorrow after work and get it online. Will need to run a bunch of updates ,fixes and patches im sure.So far so good though.I need to register Vista as well. I will be going into BIOS to set up SMART too.Would like for someone tomorrow to walk me thru the steps to find out if the HDD is working with 32MB cache and not 16.I'm sure I will be asking some Q? about Vista too.Just when I thought I had XP down good.(LOL) I need to down load my virus utility onto the new build as well.
Humm..I didnt hook up the e part of the PCI-e card either.Probably should do that while it's unplugged and check for any melted wiring , just to be safe.Another thought, maybe for a week or 2, I should power off the new build when not at home, till I see all is well.
Ok thanks for the links!
