You've hit on the main goal of this forum, which is to provide a super friendly environment for users to seek advice. There's a ton of sites out there that cater to the advanced user (XtremeSystems being one of them), but comparatively few geared towards the up and coming enthusiast, or those simply new to the DIY aspect of system building. And while we accomodate all skill levels, our primary focus is to give inexperienced users a place to learn about this hobby without feeling belittled or fear getting flamed; no elitist attitudes around these parts.
