The rules aren't clear. Only chassis and body style is firm. Magnets? It says "No magnets under the peddle"? I have no idea how that aids or is unfair.

NASCAR is losing it's roots. It's not stock cars, no part is even close to what you buy at the lots...and the Car of Today solidifies that they are a new breed. They don't drive the market, and nothing they do trickles out to the car lots. NASCAR is a step up program. You drive bombers and many other models in hopes of some day making it to the big time. But you stall now by the influx of F1, Euro, and Kart champs...no Bomber dirt trackers make it anymore. It's a sign of the need for a new name...not "NASCAR".

This is a world wide upgrade plan that NASCAR does not follow. Everyone but NASCAR brings stars up from lower ranks, not free agent type trades.

NASCAR rules, yet it's not NASCAR and stinks.
I am guessing it keeps them from, you know, pushing the pedal to the floor on the dyno.

I would have thought they would have used a throttle linkage assembly limiter which can be easily inspected for compliance by NASCAR officials. Basically, the linkage system allows the throttle to only move within a certain degree of travel. It's the same system used in many of today's fighter jets, including F-15 and F-16's.

Fly by wire is then illegal? When so many are doing just that in their product? Weird. If mechanical, then I don't see a magnet helping still. Linkage can be adjusted if on the dyno, and the dyno limit isn't clear. If I can floor it with a plate and get 1,500 HP...that's fine.
