I actually think it's on par with batman begins, but that's just me.
I saw it the other day with my girlfriend and we were both in awe because it was a lot better than either of us expected. I was thoroughly gripped and entertained through the whole movie, but it was still funny without letting more than a few minutes go by without a GREAT action scene.
