"I believe we should do whatever it takes to win the war, our military could do it. The problem is we are more worried about not violating the Law of War, or offending anyone, then we are about winning the war. So in the end we will just have to give up".
Says it all. Next to it being a 'media war', if the Government would take the shackles off the Military, and let it do, what it does best,,, But no, the government and all those ass-wipe politicians that have never been in the military 'think' they know what's best. Ever since the Korean Conflict (to the best of my knowledge, that's when the government started interfering with the military and started telling them how to fight. Let the Military handle it, and keep the friggin Government out. But, that will never happen any more.
I really feel sorry for our kids (I can say that cause I'm an old fart) in the military now a days, and in the future. God help all of you!!! Stay safe, keep your heads down, and for god's sake, don't do nothing stupid.

Moreover, Iraq can do pretty much anything it wants without having to worry about war laws and things like that holding them back. They're doing, to the best of their ability, what their opposition is doing.

I think you're a little confused. We are not officially fighting Iraq anymore. We invaded their country, took down their regime, and we are now in the process of rebuilding their Government (thats what we claim anyways). We are fighting insurgents, militant groups, and terrorist, for organizations such as the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, and Hezbollah that have come from other countries to fight the Americans in Iraq. Most of the Terrorist, and insurgents, are not Iraqis. Even though they are recruiting Iraqis to help fight in their cause.

As true as that may be, the ones that are being fought will still do anything in their power - they, too, don't care about laws of any sort.
