indeed it is, Intel buying out AMD is more likely to happen actually. Though it was be a bad marketing move, they would become a monopoly and probably be busted up or under constant investigation.

I would be more likely to think that Intel would buy out nVidia before going the ATi/AMD route. It could happen, and in fact, I predict that it will.
