Finally got power back about an hour ago! Unfortunately, my camera got fried in the process. My wife forgot to take it off the charger. I'm going to see if I can get a few from one of our local TV stations to post. I heard earlier that the whole state was deemed a disaster area. They're also stating this is the worst ice storm in years. It tokk me 2 hours to get into my truck this morning just to go and some milk for the kids' breakfast. Now it looks like we are going to get a big snowfall this weekend. Glad to hear you and yours are doing fine Hitman. Welcome to Oklahoma. Bailey.

You know that whole wait 15min thing is BS right? Actually today wasn't too bad just real rainy. I cleared out my garage anyways so I could get my truck in it. I have lived in some rainy places before (Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and Germany), but I will tell you what when it rains here in Oklahoma it washes away cars and people.

We are supposed to be getting hit with it early tomorrow morning here in PA. Winter weather advisory and icy conditions from 4am - 10pm.

Phosphorus - I'm east of you in NJ/NYC and it looks like we'll get it bad tomorrow. Figures - I'm taking the day off to escort my nearly-5-year-old daughter to my firm's "Kid's Party" tomorrow. Was supposed to be fun - first time for her to ride the bus to work with daddy, see my office, meet Santa, visit Grand Central Station, the whole nine yards. I'm starting to wonder if we'll even get out of the driveway!

The only good part is that I may finally get to use the new snowblower I bought over the summer. "More Power!"

Heard its bad out in the midwest - Drudge reports 1 million (people? homes?) without power. Hope all goes well for all of you.
