| Remember waiting patiently for conventional HDDs to drop below a buck a gig? Lets see: $3,219.99 / 128 = $25.15 per gig. Thinking I will pass for awhile. Besides just how fast can it be running off a SATA port? Ron |

| Manufacturer's site says a three year warranty. Assuming it fails at the end of that period, that comes to only $1073.33/year. Think I'll take four of them in RAID 3 or 5. ![]() Carl Core 2 Duo E6750 Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Abit IP35 Pro 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800 EVGA 8800GT 500GB Seagate Barracuda 32MB Cache Coolermaster RC-690 OCZ StealthXStream 600 watt Acer AL2216W 22" monitor Windows XP Pro SP2 |

| one other thing you have to take into consideration is the money invested in getting this product to work right, and considering the high cost to subsidize that, it has to be sold for more just to pay off those bills at a reasonable rate, which means less sales.....like everyone has said, wait for those who absolutely need the highest-end machine for e-penis value, let them pay for development so us normal users/regular enthusiasts can enjoy it for a respectable cost. |

or someone who absolutely has to have it in <2ms I'm sure someone in the government who don't know jack shit about computers thinks the most expensive is the best, and just goes to newegg.com and sorts by price (highest to lowest) and buys stuff like that.

Oh... gigabytes. My bad. :P Edit: Oh and you know, if I was able to get a 1GB one for $25, I'd frankly invest in 10 of them and a nice controller card. I don't mind having a 10GB if Windows Vista runs. :P 128GB Super Talent SSD review SuperTalent FSD28GC25M 128GB 2.5-inch SATA Solid State Drive Review - PCSTATS.com 9x 16GB Mtron SSD raid Next Level Hardware.com Last edited by polobunny; December 31st, 2007 at 01:28.
