Makes me think about our fire on Quebec day that got out of control, fire dept. had to come and water it down. I guess stacking up 20 pallets together and setting them on fire wasn't the brightest idea, even if we were in the middle of nowhere. :P

I may be taking it too seriously, but I'm glad our churches don't do that...and not on Easter especially. There are not "rival" churches in my outlook, but can kinda see some sort of celebration on Easter more than a fuzzy egg crapping bunny.

Bottle rockets are fun! We had wars every year from our back porch (red) to the garage (blue). It was capture the flag, with fire. I seriously don't have a tshirt left from then that doesn't have holes all over it. When it was done, you spent the morning picking up the red carpet of sticks, spent saturn missile cubes, and broken roman candle sticks. You couldn't hit grass if you tried. Fun stuff, but I'm sure couldn't happen today in this age.
