WEe currently have the 512MB package...($99 a month).
http://www.inmotionhosting.com/dedicated_server.html

We upgraded from the smaller package a few months ago because they old me we were using too much resources, and looking at the stats....we aren't even coming close to our limit...so these people are either really dumb, or really dishonest

Hmm, i'd be interested to know if what they claim about their hardware is true.
Seems pretty pricey for what they're charging. Let me see though what I can come up with. =)
But yeah, shared apparently is enough for you. Chances are they complained because you were using too much computing power, not bandwidth. Even then, it would risible to tell you you're using too much resources if they really are running on dual Xeons...

Who knows? Blame Canada.

Canada is the reason I can't achieve a full 54Kbps internet connection. (sry, blur. I just took these today actually, when the server was down.)

Ah Cap, check out 1and1.com

They have been a great service for over 3 years to me. They have some where in the 99.9% up time, and if you do have a down time they at least will admit it!!!

Yep I was real bummed today while trying to get to the forums, so I just had to f**k around with stuff, and I loaded SUSE Linux 10.1!!! Hell that is what I am on right at this moment!! Very cool OS. I am starting to wonder what the h**. I am running windows for......Oh wait, I am a gamer.....I guess I need Windows

Oh man, don't get Rich started on 1and1. Not sure if the threads still exist or not, but assuming they do, you can dig up his opinions of 1and1 after having used them when the site initially went live.

1and1.com was our very first hosting solution....and by far the worst....unless you count 45+ minutes waiting on hold to speak to someone who doesn't speak or understand more than basic English good hosting.
Guys, I'll find a good host...its just going to take some work. I'm not interested in shared hosting, we're getting too big for that, which is why we went to a dedicated server......InMotion had awesome recommendations and have been really good up til this last week....as to pricing, a quick search of other reputable hosting companies shows the same pricing, if not a little more (between $99-123) for the exact same package.
As I said, I'll worry about the site and hosting, you guys just worry about content and helping people
